MIGRANT WORKER AID
HELPING THE FOREIGNER
THE LEAST OF THESE
Our staff and partners around the world have the opportunity to build relationships with some very special people; men and women who have moved far away from home desperately seeking economic opportunity. They are known as migrant workers. Or as we like to say, "Sojourners".
BROKEN PROMISES
These migrant workers are aliens in a foreign land where they are often ill-treated, under-paid and taken advantage of. Many of these migrant workers initially move to a wealthy area with the intention of working temporarily to earn enough of an income to support their families back home.
Unfortunately, as a result of broken promises and false expectations, many of these migrants wind up stuck in a foreign country for years, forced to remain working as maids at minimal pay as their emigration rights are unfairly revoked.
YOUR SUPPORT
With the migrant worker population being extremely high in certain regions of the Middle East where our partners are stationed, True Sojourners is uniquely positioned to minister to the needs of these individuals. Funds contributed to the Migrant Worker Aid project can be used to assist with meeting some of the basic needs of migrant workers and their families.
